Acclaimed Concrete Coatings is owned by Adam Thommes, a concrete coating professional with 25 years of construction experience. Adam founded Acclaimed in 2024 with one goal: to deliver the sharpest looking floors around.
What sets Acclaimed apart is hands-on ownership. Adam is proud to be on every job, making sure the work is done right and meets the high standards we stand behind. Why We Do Not Use Epoxy
Epoxy has been the industry standard for decades, but it has serious limitations. It yellows under UV light, chips easily, and breaks down faster than modern alternatives.
Sure, you could still use a horse and buggy as your primary form of transportation—but that would be silly since we have cars now. The same goes for epoxy. Why settle for outdated technology when there's a better solution available?
Our polyurea-based system solves all of those problems. The polyurea base provides exceptional adhesion and flexibility. The full broadcast flake adds grip and stunning visual depth. The polyaspartic topcoat delivers unmatched durability and UV resistance.
