We first connected with Bob and Shirley at a home show, and it didn't take long to see they were the kind of homeowners who actually care about doing things right. When they were ready to move forward on their garage floor, we were glad to be the ones they called.

Here's what we were working with before we got started - raw, stained concrete with oil marks, debris, and years of wear ground into the surface. That kind of floor isn't just an eyesore. It absorbs spills, holds onto dust, and gets harder to deal with every season. Bare concrete is basically a sponge, and once it's saturated with grime and oil, no amount of sweeping or mopping is going to fix it.

What we put down is a full flake floor coating system - a base coat locked into the concrete, color flakes broadcast across the surface, and a topcoat sealed over everything. The green, white, and dark flake blend they chose gives the floor a clean, finished look that also hides the kind of everyday dirt and scuffs that come with actual garage use. That's not an accident - it's one of the reasons flake systems are so popular.

The practical side of it matters just as much as the look. A coated floor is far easier to clean than bare concrete. Spills wipe up instead of soaking in. It handles foot traffic, vehicle weight, and whatever else gets dragged across it without showing the wear the way raw concrete does. For a working garage, that's a big deal.

Bob and Shirley trusted us with their space, and we're proud of how it came out. If your garage floor looks anything like the before, it might be time to stop putting it off.
